Alright, so as you may know, I have a very limited number of tickets to the ceremony (5 actually.)
Spring Commencement is held every year out in Kafadar Commons (see maps below.)
This year they will be holding it rain or shine. If severe weather occurs they will delay the ceremony 4 hours.
If the weather persists they will delay it 24 hours. A plan of last resort would be to hold it at Lockridge Arena in the
Student Recreation Center (this probably won't happen.)

The positioning of the stage is indicated by the black bar in the above aerial photo.
So this is how it will work, a ticket will gain one entrance to the Kafadar Commons.
I expect the seats in Kafadr will be fenced in (approximated by the red outline in the aerial photo.)

For those guests without tickets, a large viewing screen will be placed in Stratton Commons
There will be a mix of seating and standing room in Stratton commons, all of which will
be on a first-come-first-serve basis. I expect it'd be ok to bring your own chair if
you end up there.

In the event that inclement weather occurs the ceremony will proceed as described above, but
seating will be available within Green Center for those who have tickets. There the ceremony
be livestreamed into Bunker Auditorium and Petroleum Hall, with Petroleum Hall being for families.

The reception following the ceremony will be in the Maple Pedestrian Plaza. This is
located at the intersection of the Student Recreation Center, Brown Building, the Student
Center, and Berthoud Hall (see parking map below.)

Mines does have a parking permit system, but it doesn't apply on the day of commencement
so park anywhere you want! Except the Golden city streets, they do have a separate permit
system. Personally I'd recommend the CTLM lot (lot CT.) Also please note the handicap lot
East of Green Center.
